Inhale. Exhale. And meet Bonnie – a dedicated yogi and long-time athlete with a strong personal Ashtanga and Vinyasayoga practice. Bonnie’s goal is to promote healthy aging and help people move better through practicing yoga. She instructs both group and one-on-one Hatha-Vinyasa yoga classes where she teaches breathing exercises, leads guided meditation and focuses on correct posture alignment to ensure a safe and beneficial practice.

Bonnie has completed the 200-hour De La SolHatha-Vinyasa Yoga Teacher training course and continues to deepen her knowledge through online training and workshops. Aside from yoga, her other passion is science. Bonnie holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Belgrade in Serbia and she has over 20 years of experience in cancer research where she examined the role that human microbiota and inflammation play in health and disease.

Bonnie’s strongly believes in the link between exercise and your physical and mental health. With her motto “Supple body, open mind”, it comes as no surprise that Bonnie loves being active and outdoors all year round. Rain or shine, you can find her hiking with her dog in Dundas Valley Conservation Area. During the winter, she enjoys downhill skiing and during the summer she loves swimming in Georgian Bay – or saltier water when possible!
